Jimmy Carbone, owner of the East Village bar Jimmy's No.43, has been a long time supporter of the local food movement. Incorporating his family's tradition of using fresh ingredients, Jimmy's No.43 uses the organic ingredients from local farmers around New York City. His bar, which also serves handcrafted beer on draught, has become a community space over the years. On any night of the week, the back room at Jimmy's No.43 is used for a variety of events; from a CSA drop off to a fund raising event, or a farmer meet and greet to a musical performance.

This month's podcast includes music from Lee Rosevere, Eskalators, and El Jugador.
